Established over 50 years ago, A&B Engineering are a Mechanical and Electrical Contractor based on Merseyside. We have developed an excellent reputation in providing our clients with a quality service and installation on time and to budget. We work hard to ensure we do this time and time again, and this hard work and reliability has resulted in an excellent client return and retention rate.

It has also resulted in significant growth for the company allowing us to price and work upon projects from £50,000 to £10,000,000 (M&E Value). We work throughout the UK but ideally within the North West including Merseyside, North Wales, Wirral, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and West Yorkshire.

We work across many sectors providing new build, fit out and refurbishment services to projects within the following sectors:

We provide a full multi discipline Mechanical and Electrical package including design, providing a full and true Design and Build service. Our design team holds CIBSE accreditation including Low Carbon status. The company holds many accreditations including the following:-

As a company we place a massive emphasis upon training and Health & Safety. Over the last 3 years we have spent over £45,000 on Health & Safety training alone. Our H&S record is excellent and we are continuing to invest in this area to ensure the safety of all those associated with projects we undertake.

Our attitude to Environmental issues is also exemplary. At all times we strive to provide energy efficient options and solutions such as air and ground source energy systems, solar energy, bio-mass, rainwater harvesting, CHP and wind energy are offered to our clients.

The backbone of our organisation is the people we employ. Many have been with the company for over 30 years providing a bank of priceless information which covers many sectors and types of work. This experience is fundamental in ensuring we. are able to offer a service which provides quality and value for money to our clients.

We believe in investing in the industries future, we currently employ approximately 40 apprentices in both the Craft and Technical areas. We believe in investing and meeting and exceeding the standards required as a responsible and socially aware organisation by ensuring we provide our workforce with training, enhancing their development and ensuring their Health and Safety.
