Formed in January 2002 as A & G Building Services Ltd, the Company is run by Kevin Woods and Paul Mellor, both of whom have over 35 years experience in the Construction industry on Merseyside. The name of the Company was changed to MellWood Construction Ltd in August 2004.

 
During all of their time in the industry, both Paul and Kevin have worked closely with many Housing Associations on both refurbishment and new-build schemes, and have considerable experience of private projects, industrial, commercial and education buildings.
 
Currently, turnover is approximately £5 million pa, with capacity to increase this to £6 million.
 
Registered with Construction Line and NHBC, the Company fully supports training and Equal Opportunities initiatives, and subscribes to the CITB apprentice scheme, currently employing two apprentices out of a total directly-employed workforce of twenty-five.
 
During the past nine years, MellWood have successfully completed projects up to
£1.5 million in the following sectors:
