Created for learners who have already completed the IOSH Managing Safely course, this one-day refresher is designed to give participants an opportunity to renew their knowledge and gain the latest insights on health and safety legislation. It places greater emphasis on monitoring, auditing and review, helping learners gain these valuable skills for their workplace.

Aims and Objectives

This course aims to refresh and update holders of the IOSH Managing Safely certificate on the latest developments in the field.

Prerequisites

For delegates to be eligible to take the Refresher course, they must have previously attended the full IOSH Managing Safely course ideally within the last three years. Whilst this three year period is not mandatory it is best practice and highly recommended.

This course is designed for anyone with responsibility for health and safety within their organisation at a supervisory or managerial level.

Content

The course begins with a review on what was learned at the original IOSH Managing Safely course and considers what each learner wishes to gain from this refresher.

The assessment tests the course learning objectives and consists of an invigilated, closed-book, multi-format question paper completed at the end of the course.This assessment must be the delegate’s own work.
