Steve is a Health and Safety consultant working since 1979 with substitutional industry experience within the public and private sectors and ex Corporate Safety Director within Liverpool City Council leading the corporate safety team, dealing with all Safety Management matters including CDM/Planning Supervisors for Client and Architectural Services and all divisions of the Authority delivering Safety Solutions across the full spectrum of Safety Management and Training.

He established and ran the Project Management Division of Keith Dickson Partnership, Castle Street, Liverpool (now Capita) for 3 years as Director heading up all CDM Projects .

He has an electrical engineering background and has specialised in safety since 1990, gaining the N.E.B.O.S.H Certificate and  Diploma and an Honours Degree in Health, Safety and Environmental Management as well as an extensive range of further training and qualifications  . He is a Chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health and  continues to actively maintain his professional development status. Steve has run his own successful safety and training consultancy business since 1990.  He works in partnership with a number of public and private sector organisations.

Steve is an accomplished and experienced trainer having accreditations to deliver CITB/ SSSTS/ IOSH/SMSTS/NEBOSH/CIEH/RSPH  courses and also having designed and delivered an extensive range of training, for multiple organisations, since establishing Rawlings Consultancy Services.

Since the introduction of the Construction Design and Management Regulations, Steve has worked originally as a Planning Supervisor and since amendments as a CDM Coordinator, on a large range of projects of various sizes and complexity; the full list can be viewed on www.rawlingsrcs.co.uk Steve now continues to deliver CDM 2015 Client and Principal Designer CDM Consultancy.

Steve is a corporate and incorporated member of the Association of Project Safety and his consultancy is SMAS and CHAS Accredited. In 2010 Steve achieved ISO9001 accreditation for all his consultancy service outputs.

Steve is on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register. (OSHCR)

Since the establishment of Rawlings Consultancy Services in 1998 Steve has provided advice, assistance and guidance to a wide range of private and public sector companies in all aspects of Health and Safety management and continues to do so up to the current date.

Steve continues to the present time to be actively involved as Managing Director of his busy consultancy practice in all aspects of Health & Safety Management, Safety Training, CDM Consultancy and retained Safety Services.
